KS2 competed in a gym competition at Dawlish Leisure Centre. Well done to all the children for taking part… and an extra special well done to those who qualified to compete at the next round!
Class 2 enjoyed our time at Haldon. We completed the Gruffalo trail and finished back at school with a picnic on the carpet.
For Science week, Class Three have been fizzing and popping to answer the enquiry, “Do gases have mass?”. We measured the weight of some fizzy drinks, (making sure we kept lots of variables the same, such as: same bottle, same drink). Then we shook the bottles as hard as we could to remove the gas. …
On Thursday 8th February, Class 4 did some WW2 baking with Mrs Coles and they made carrot cookies using: margarine, self raising flour, carrots, sugar, vanilla essence. They tasted delicious and all the children had a great morning baking. Here are the photos.

On Thursday 1st February, Class 4 were treated by the PTA to a WW2 workshop with Paul Nolan (an author and a WW2 expert). The session was extremely informative with lots of fun facts, props and a quiz. The children were able to answer Paul’s questions to show him what they had learnt already and…
